What warranty do you offer on your SYNC 3 upgrade kits?
Every NavShift SYNC 3 conversion kit and standalone APIM module is backed by our 3-Year Warranty and supported directly from the United States. We stand behind our genuine OEM hardware and bench testing so you have complete peace of mind with your order. If you ever experience a hardware or programming issue during your 3-year coverage period, reach out to us and we will guide you through a fast resolution or replacement.
What condition will my SYNC 3 screen and parts arrive in?
Because Ford never sold a retail SYNC 2-to-SYNC 3 conversion kit over the dealership counter, authentic OEM kits are built using genuine OEM refurbished Ford and Lincoln screens and APIM modules paired with new wiring harnesses and GPS antennas. Every screen and APIM is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, bench-tested, and guaranteed to function 100%. The metal mounting frames or rear module housings may have minor marks, slight blemishes, or warehouse markings normal for genuine OEM refurbished parts.
Why don't I have to select all of my vehicle's factory options on the website?
You don't need to guess which audio amplifier, climate system, or camera type your truck has! When you provide your 17-digit VIN, we enter it directly into Ford's official Motorcraft As-Built database on our test bench. That gives us the exact factory build sheet for your specific vehicle so your heated/cooled seats, climate controls, steering wheel buttons, sound system, and backup camera are programmed accurately before shipping.
What is the difference between the two USB Hub options?
We offer two replacement console USB hub choices with our full kits:
• 1. Wired Apple CarPlay & Android Auto OEM USB Hub (Included): Connects your iPhone or Android phone via a standard USB cable for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and fast charging.
• 2. Upgraded USB Hub with Built-In Wireless Bluetooth Chip (+$90): Has the wireless Bluetooth/CarPlay/Android Auto chip built directly inside the USB hub itself, allowing your phone to connect wirelessly without plugging in a cord or hanging an external dongle in your console. It also features a built-in switch if you want to toggle between wireless projection and factory navigation.
Do both the $399 Non-Nav Kit and the $479 Factory Navigation Kit support Apple CarPlay & Android Auto?
Yes! Both kits give you full-screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can use Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps, Spotify, Pandora, and hands-free calls/texting on the 8" touchscreen. The $479 Navigation kit uses a 32GB APIM that also includes built-in offline Ford North America maps that work even in areas with zero cell phone reception.
Do you offer upgrades for vehicles with the small 4-inch (4.2") non-touch screen?
Not at this time. All of our current upgrade kits and standalone modules are designed exclusively for Ford and Lincoln vehicles that came from the factory with an 8-inch display. We may introduce 4-inch to 8-inch conversion packages in the future.
